Nanostew.net is the home to a group of writers who met up through NaNoWriMo. Our participation in NaNoWriMo has driven our creativity and forged many new and strong relationships as well. We decided a small site to showcase ourselves would be fun, and hopefully you'll enjoy it. NanoStew.net will not only house information on NaNoWriMo, but also Script Frenzy and our fledgling writing group.

NaNoWriMo

It's likely that you've heard of this fun event before, but if not here's a brief explanation. Write 50,000 words in 30 days over the month of November. It's crazy, insane, and a lot of fun. With NanoStew.net we're not trying to recreate anything the Nano site is doing really, we just wanted to keep better tabs on the local people that we know.

Script Frenzy

Dulles Creative Writing Group

NanoStew.net is also going to be the home of the Dulles Creative Writing Group. We've decided that we'd like to have some writing going on in the off months, and have therefore formed this group. Since we're just starting out and are mostly comprised of the same people involved in Nano every year, we are going to use the one site to house information for both groups.
