Joining the Group

To join the group you just need to show up to some form of get together. We're a very open group and love meeting new people. So check out the calendar and if you can make it to a meetup, come on by! We are mostly in the Reston/Sterling area - that's about the only limitation.

Joining the Website

If you're a fairly regular visitor to the meets, and you'd like to get your own section up on the website just let me know! Contact me via email at cyn@nanostew.net or you can message me on AIM, my screenname is SlayerWillow. If you email me please make the subject line something like NanoStew.net author info, and if you contact me via AIM please say something similar in your first message and let me know that's how you got my screenname.

For now I am updating the site myself, so please bear with me if it takes a few days to get stuff up. I may try to change that later, but for now this is the easiest option.

Joining the Blog

If you want to become a member of the blog you need to be a fairly regular visitor to the meets, and have your info up on the site. You will also have to become a Blogger member in order for me to give you access to the blog. It's set up through Blogger because it's a system I know and like. I may try to build a blog myself one day, but that's a project for later. If you have a gmail account, that will also work for a Blogger account.

If you're on the site, and you have a Blogger account, then please contact me so I can invite you to join the blog. Then you will have posting priveleges. It's set up so anyone can comment on the posts.

Later we may work up more guidelines for posting, for now please just be courteous of the fellow members.
